"Make your life your masterpiece!"
Tatiana Di Marzio Art
Since I was little, my mom encouraged me to follow my path, as art was all I was interested in. Getting my hands dirty with colors and clay, creating, and always moving from one thing to another, drawing soon became my escape from reality. Painting became my therapy, helping me cope with OCD, anxiety, and depression. I have come to fully understand the healing power of art as a constant process of personal growth.
While running Ma-Tata Art Gallery in Italy, my experiences as a gallerist, artist, and curator deepened my appreciation for the value of sharing and connecting. I discovered new ways to communicate through artistic expression and met many talented artists who became friends, collaborators, supporters, and mentors along the way.
“To focus on the true meaning of Art is to appreciate the beauty in everything, connect an empathize, share and remind one another how much Beauty he’s there in the struggle of our souls, in the pain of a bodies and Minds.. and how much importance has art in the history of the human evolution. Just create!”
"Make your life your masterpiece!"
Emotional Art.
I paint to exorcise my emotions, to visualize my dreams, and to bring my vision into physical creation on a canvas. This process allows me to detach, observe, and stop overthinking, helping me see things for what they truly are. Through painting, I always come to understand where my pain is coming from.
While creating, I enter a state of flow similar to meditation. In this absence of thoughts, I find myself free to move my hands and colored brushes in a space where everything I experience is my own creation.
“Live your life as you masterpiece.”
My artwork is always different. I enjoy moving through various styles and experimenting with different techniques inspired by the moment. This approach reflects my way of living, maintaining balance in a constant state of change.
“ Nature teaches us this, through day, nights, seasons..”

My work
Nature is my biggest source of inspiration. The connection with it, the exploration of the psyche, and the human experience all serve as pointers to direct my vision. My favorite artists? As a student, Dali, Picasso, and Goya were my first inspirations, each for different reasons.
However, if I had to choose a single work of art that truly captivates me, it would be Munch’s “Melancholia.” I cried in front of it, feeling as though I was inside the picture. The silence that sank into the viewer’s heart leaves you with a profound sense of loneliness and resignation. The title “Melancholia” encapsulates the foundation of the creative act—feeling part of all that exists, contemplating life’s beauty, and simultaneously facing its inescapable tragedy, leaving us powerless and lonely.
From oil and acrylic paintings to watercolors and hand-painted garments, upcycling, and original recycling, I see myself and my art expanding and exploring even more directions, following my personal evolution.
